ShieldBillPay

Our editorial approach

Useful decisions.
Clear sources.

Our guides help merchants understand payment-provider options and prepare a practical brief. This page explains who publishes them, what we use as evidence and where the limits are.

Publisher and perspective.

The site is published by ShieldBill Pay, operated by ShieldBill LLC. We describe our PSP matching and onboarding approach and compare it with other services. We are a participant in this market, and the comparison pages disclose that perspective.

Pages are attributed to ShieldBill Pay. We do not invent reviewer biographies, customer testimonials or performance results. Any planning example is labelled as illustrative.

How we use sources.

Provider descriptions use official websites, product pages or documentation linked from the relevant guide. Checklists, fit assessments and decision questions are our editorial guidance. A linked source supports the claims beside it; it does not establish our independent testing of that provider.

We distinguish PSPs, merchant-account services, gateways, matching services and merchant-of-record models. Inclusion in the directory does not mean two products perform the same job or that a provider endorses ShieldBill Pay.

What a comparison can establish.

A comparison can clarify the service scope and questions to ask. Eligibility, pricing, reserves, settlement, payment methods and integrations depend on the provider’s proposal for your business. Our pages do not guarantee approval or a launch date.

We do not publish numerical scores or claims to have benchmarked competitor performance. Use the provider’s current agreement and a demonstration of your required flow when making a decision.

Reviews and changes.

Each editorial guide and comparison shows its review date. We update the date when the material is substantively reviewed or changed. Dates are not automatically refreshed with each deployment.

Provider offerings can change between reviews. Important facts should be confirmed directly with the provider during your application. Pages link to related guides and comparisons so readers can check the wider setup before applying.

Corrections and questions.

Send the page URL, the statement in question and an official supporting source to contact@shieldbill.io. We use those details to assess a correction. Keep personal documents, payment credentials and card details out of the message.
