Stripe shut you down? · ShieldBill Pay

Stripe closed your account? Get paid again in days.

Your customers shouldn’t disappear with your processor. We’ll find your next PSP, help migrate your saved cards before it’s too late, and keep your subscriptions running. Then build your backup.

Start here

You can get back to processing in days. Your launch depends on the provider’s approval, your documents and the checkout work. Start the search and check card-migration access now.

Stripe terminated you. Start here.

Read the closure email and Dashboard notice. Record when new charges stop, what happens to payouts and how to request a review. Those details set the immediate priorities.

If Stripe has misunderstood your business, use the review form linked in its email. At the same time, prepare another way to accept payments. Your future sales need a plan.

  • Save the notice and any processing cutoff date.
  • Check whether new payments and renewals still work.
  • Record refunds, disputes and orders you still need to handle.
  • Check whether a supported saved-card migration remains available.

Tell us what you sell, where your company is registered and your monthly volume. Explain the closure and the tools you need to keep. We use that information to find suitable PSPs.

Then we help prepare your application and get the checkout work moving. Complete documents remove avoidable back-and-forth. Each PSP makes its own approval decision; we establish what your launch needs.

Protect the cards you already saved.

Saved cards can protect the customer relationships you worked to build. We help vault or migrate eligible payment credentials while provider support and access allow it. Raise this at the start.

Stripe documents a secure transfer to a qualifying PCI DSS Level 1 receiving processor. Existing Stripe token IDs cannot simply be reused elsewhere. Some payment methods, including Link credentials, are excluded. Confirm eligibility with both migration teams.

Keep your subscriptions running.

Moving cards is one part of the job. Your billing schedules need to move too. We plan customer mapping, renewal dates and the new processor connection with ShieldBill.

Stripe’s card export excludes subscriptions and payment history. Inventory those records separately. Test renewals and duplicate prevention before launch. If a payment method cannot move, prepare a clear customer update request.

  • Map customers, saved payment methods and subscription records.
  • List upcoming renewals and the next charge date.
  • Confirm the supported card transfer and receiving processor.
  • Test the billing handover before charging customers.

Make the next setup stronger.

Once payments are moving, get another approved processor ready. ShieldBill connects billing and payment routing across supported providers. A tested backup gives your team another way to accept payments.

Connect it. Test it. Assign someone to keep it ready. New processing does not release a balance held by Stripe. Keep the existing review, refunds and disputes with the team responsible for that account.

Approval and integration determine your launch date. Held funds remain with Stripe. Saved-card migration needs provider support and access.

Common questions.

Stripe closed my account. What should I do first?

Read the notice. Check when charges stop and whether Stripe offers a review. List upcoming renewals and check saved-card migration access. Start preparing your next PSP application in parallel.

Can you help me process again in days?

Yes. We can help merchants resume processing in days. The actual launch depends on business eligibility, complete documents, PSP approval and checkout testing. We identify those steps for your case.

Can you save my current subscriptions?

We help preserve subscriptions by coordinating eligible saved-card migration and a separate billing handover. This depends on provider access, supported payment methods and the new integration. Contact us while migration is still possible.

Will switching processors release my Stripe balance?

No. Stripe controls its balance and account review. We focus on getting future payments moving and protecting recurring revenue.

Should I open another Stripe account instead?

Use the review route in your notice and follow Stripe’s instructions. A new account does not resolve the reason for closure. Be accurate about your trading history when applying to another provider.
