Airwallex account suspended?
Get paid again. In days.

Your checkout needs a way forward. We find your next card processor, help you get live in days and protect the subscriptions you built. Give customers another way to pay.

Start here

Identify what Airwallex restricted: login, transfers, a payment method or online acceptance. A new card processor can help with future checkout payments; it cannot unlock an Airwallex wallet or transfer.

Airwallex restricted something?
Find the affected service.

Save the notification and record the functions affected. Check whether you can sign in, receive customer card payments, use the required payment methods and access transfers. These are separate parts of the account.

This guide is for a business whose customer-payment setup is affected. A wallet restriction, outbound bank transfer or issued business-card problem needs Airwallex’s own support process. Do not treat a new PSP account as a replacement for every finance service.

Airwallex needs information?
Use the official support channel.

Contact Airwallex support using the route in your account. Its payment-error documentation directs suspended online-processing cases to customer support. Save the error reference and the time it occurred for the team handling your case.

For payment-method activation, review outstanding information requests or requested website updates. Follow the status shown for that method. An application under review, an ineligible method and an operating-account suspension are different issues. Supply accurate information through the approved secure process.

Get paid again.
In days.

Tell us what you sell, your company country, payment volume and the exact restriction. Include your store, billing tools, currencies and processing history. We find suitable PSPs and help prepare the application.

We help merchants resume processing in days. The receiving provider must approve the business and support the connection. Confirm the full fee, settlement and reserve terms. Get a tested checkout ready before moving customers to it.

  • Scope customer payment acceptance separately from banking and transfers.
  • Explain the account restriction accurately.
  • Confirm currencies, payment methods and checkout compatibility.
  • Test payments, refunds and notifications before launch.

Customers ready to renew?
Protect the billing handover.

List upcoming subscriptions and the system that sends each charge. Identify who holds the saved credentials. We help plan a secure migration where the sending and receiving providers support it and access remains available.

Billing schedules, wallet permissions and card credentials are separate. Some methods may need fresh customer authorisation. Test the first renewal and duplicate prevention. Do not assume an Airwallex object ID or wallet agreement transfers to another PSP.

Existing balance restricted?
Separate it from new sales.

Airwallex’s reserve guidance describes retained processing funds separately from payment acceptance. Read the plan for your account instead of assuming a reserve means processing has been suspended. Ask support about unclear balances or release conditions.

Continue handling the original account’s refunds, disputes and any restricted funds. A new processor does not release those balances. With ShieldBill, prepare supported billing and an additional approved provider for future payments. Confirm the connections before relying on the backup.

A new card processor does not unlock an Airwallex wallet, issued card or bank transfer. A reserve is not automatically a payment-acceptance suspension.

Common questions.

Why is my Airwallex account suspended?

Use the specific notice and contact Airwallex support. A payment-acceptance restriction, unavailable method and locked finance account require different responses. We cannot identify your account’s reason from a generic error alone.

Does an Airwallex reserve stop new payments?

Airwallex’s payment-reserve documentation says a reserve does not itself stop payment acceptance. Check for a separate restriction or inactive payment method in your account.

Can you unlock my wallet or bank transfer?

No. Airwallex and the relevant banking process handle those services. We help businesses find another processor for future customer payments and prepare the checkout and billing handover.

Can you get me taking cards again in days?

Yes. We help merchants find a new PSP and resume processing in days. Documents, business eligibility, approval, the supported connection and testing determine your launch.

Will my saved cards and subscriptions move automatically?

No automatic transfer is assumed. We confirm eligible credential migration, supported methods, billing schedules and any new customer authorisation before the switch.
